The Foreign Trade Advisors of France and La Fabrique de l’Exportation have signed a partnership agreement marking a new milestone in the cooperation between key stakeholders of the French international business ecosystem.

Founded in 2012, La Fabrique de l’Exportation is the only French think tank dedicated to international trade and the internationalization of businesses. As a non-profit association, it brings together business leaders, experts, academics, and institutional stakeholders around a shared mission:

➡ To promote the understanding of transformations in international trade
➡ To improve the performance of French companies internationally
➡ To foster research and training in International Business
➡ To create an independent space for reflection and debate on the major issues of global trade

A partnership based on the complementarity of missions

Present in more than 152 countries, the CCE network consists of over 4,500 business leaders and international trade experts, who volunteer their services to promote the economic influence of France.

With four key missions—advising public authorities, supporting businesses, raising youth awareness of international opportunities, and promoting France’s attractiveness—the CCE shares with La Fabrique de l’Exportation the same ambition: to advance France’s standing on the international stage.

This partnership aims to structure and strengthen collaboration between the two organizations around several key areas:

  • Visibility and content exchange: The CCE will be involved in the production of La Fabrique de l’Exportation’s materials (articles, studies, podcasts, videos) and events.
  • Expertise sharing: La Fabrique will provide access to its network of academics and experts to enrich strategic thinking and knowledge dissemination on export-related issues.
  • Cross-participation in events: CCE representatives will be invited to meetings and conferences organized by La Fabrique, while the CCE network will share La Fabrique’s work with businesses and public stakeholders.
  • Support for research and training: The CCE will assist La Fabrique in its efforts to conduct surveys and academic studies with businesses, while benefiting from the research outcomes.

A shared vision: better understanding to export better

By combining their expertise, the CCE and La Fabrique de l’Exportation aim to contribute to a better understanding of the contemporary challenges facing international trade—whether geopolitical, environmental, technological, or human—and to the dissemination of high-performing, sustainable, and responsible export practices.

“This agreement highlights our desire to further open the CCE network to the academic world and strategic thinking spaces. La Fabrique de l’Exportation is a natural partner for deepening our collective understanding of the challenges of internationalization,” says Sophie Sidos, President of the CCE.

For Alain Bentejac, President of La Fabrique de l’Exportation, “The CCE represent on the ground what we analyze in our work: the reality of international trade and the diversity of experiences that enrich French exports. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to combine research and action.”

A common dynamic in support of Team France Export

This partnership strengthens the synergy between public, private, and academic stakeholders in the export ecosystem, at the heart of Team France Export, and aligns with the ongoing mission of the CCE: to contribute, through their experience and commitment, to the international growth of French companies.
